Well it was our first wedding since the start of the pandemic and it was a great day.

I put together a little video with some of some of  the photos I took while I was being the dj, not the photographer.

This was a weddings where I could say I knew almost everyone in attendance. The bride’s dad and I have been friends since we were kids riding motorcycles together. As a side note, talking to his wife, I found out he still has one of the bikes he had when we were kids. A Yamaha IT 175! I wish I knew the year.

So the wedding took place in Trough Creek where everybody knows everybody. That would be true during the wedding. I’ll get to that later. The farm where the wedding was held belongs to the couple and was purchased a few years ago. It has a specific object that will be a reference for anyone needing directions for years to come. It’s the “Blue Barn” on 829. Penn State blue.

We set up in the back of the barn. The ceremony was held at the front of the barn. There were a couple of tents  in which the groom and bride walked with their parents  to get to the ceremony location. There were a few tears shed from both the mother of the groom and bride as they each gave their son and daughter a last hug and kiss as their unmarried babies.

The wedding went smooth and only when the couple started reading vows to each other did more tears flow. They were happy tears and the service was beautiful. Now back to everyone in Trough Creek knows everyone. A car passed mid-ceremony blowing the horn. The bride shouted out “Oh that was so and so”! Everyone laughed. It’s good to live in a small town area.

Sometimes a couple will do a sand ceremony or a knot ceremony. Since this was the couples farm, they planted a tree they could watch grow for years and years.

I’ll have more photos on my facebook page and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Thanks to all!!
